Here’s laws for California in 2024.
If you are a California resident and have a dog you must establish a relationship of no less than 30 days with the therapist writing the ESA letter.
The law that requires this is the AB 468 law which was passed on January 1, 2022.
This law doesn’t apply to any other type of ESA.

Why Online Dog Training?
Online dog training is a flexible and accessible solution for pet owners seeking effective training methods. With a wide array of resources and courses available at your fingertips, it offers convenience and cost savings compared to traditional in-person training. You can tailor lessons to your schedule, access expert guidance, and progress at your dog's pace, all from the comfort of your home.
Overview of the Best Dog Trainers in Los Angeles
Online VS In-Person Dog Training
Training your dog can typically be done in one of three ways: in-person lessons, boarding your dog to be trained, or online dog training. By far the most expensive of these options is boarding your dog for training and usually, this option is only necessary for serious behavior needs or for pet owners who can’t dedicate the time to train their dog themselves.
Online dog training courses are the most affordable option to train your dog. On top of being more affordable, online dog training also allows you to complete lessons at your own pace on a schedule that works for you. While in-person training allows you to have a hands-on experience with a trainer, it requires more time and generally costs much more than online dog training.
Does Online Dog Training Work?
Online dog training is a great option for flexible, affordable lessons and has been shown to be just as effective as in-person training without the hassle of appointments and high costs. Online learning has seen a huge evolution over the past few years, and online dog training is no exception.
